Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. CAVORT Celtic Christmas
When CAVORT last played Concerts in the Woods in 2022, the show was so well-received and well-attended we knew we’d need to bring them back ASAP to do it all again. The last two years have flown right by, but thankfully Cavort will bring their fiddles, whistles, guitars, and bodhrans to Coyle for our final concert of the 2024 season, Concerts in the Woods’ annual holiday-themed show.
CAVORT promises to take you on an energetic Celtic musical journey of perilous passages, hooch-hiding, romantic indecisiveness, and beer. Add in some traditional Irish carols and holiday songs, and you’ve got the makings of a great afternoon. Come join us.
At this show, we will take a moment to thank you, the loyal patrons of this much-loved musical series, for your support. You continue to provide musicians from all around the globe a wonderful opportunity to perform out here on the far-flung Olympic Peninsula, allowing them to play to an attentive, kind, and generous audience all throughout the year.
Cookies and refreshments are always provided. We will up the ante at this special time of year and serve Port Townsend’s own Pane D’Amore’s cookies and holiday breads!
Thanks to all for your support in 2024! The first six shows of the 2025 concert season will be posted here on the website in the next few weeks.
Happy Holidays,
Joe and Norm
